These Terms of Service supplement the quotation accepted by the Client. The exact scope of the service, schedule, deliverables, price and any special terms are set out in that quotation.
Scope and Service Provider
These Terms of Service govern wedding filming and film production services purchased for private purposes from Laurent Henry, a sole trader operating under the French micro-entreprise scheme and under the trading name Laurent Henry Weddings, hereinafter referred to as the “Service Provider”.

These terms apply to weddings held in France or Switzerland. Any order placed by a professional, including an agency, venue or wedding planner acting for business purposes, is subject to specific terms or separate business terms and conditions.
Quotation and booking
The quotation remains valid for 30 days from its issue date, provided the wedding date is still available when it is accepted.
The order and date reservation become final once all three of the following conditions have been met: electronic or handwritten signature of the contract, acceptance of these Terms of Service and payment of a deposit equal to 30% of the total price.
The Client undertakes to provide accurate information concerning the times, locations, contacts and any particular constraints affecting the day. Any significant change may require an amendment or a revised quotation.
Prices and payment
The price, options, any travel and accommodation costs, and the payment schedule are detailed in the quotation. Services carried out in France are invoiced in euros. Services carried out in Switzerland may be invoiced in Swiss francs, according to the currency stated in the quotation.
Payment is made by bank transfer or, with prior agreement, in cash within the limits permitted by law. Cheques and card payments are not accepted.
Unless otherwise stated in the quotation, a 30% deposit is paid when the order is placed, a second payment of 30% is due on the wedding day, and the remaining balance of 40% is due upon delivery of the film. In the event of late payment, the Service Provider may suspend any services still to be performed until payment has been received.
Right of withdrawal
When the contract is concluded at a distance with a consumer, the consumer generally has fourteen days from the date the contract is concluded to exercise their right of withdrawal, without having to give a reason.
When the Client expressly asks for the service to begin before the end of this period, the Client remains liable, in the event of withdrawal, for the amount corresponding to the services actually performed before the decision to withdraw is communicated. If the service has been fully performed before the end of the withdrawal period, following the Client's express request and acknowledgement that the right of withdrawal will be lost, that right can no longer be exercised.
The form provided at the end of these Terms of Service may be used to give notice of withdrawal by email or by post to the Service Provider's business address.
Cancellation and postponement
Once the withdrawal period has expired, any cancellation by the Client must be notified in writing. The 30% deposit is retained by the Service Provider as compensation for reserving the date and for work already undertaken, except in a recognised case of force majeure or where a written commercial agreement provides otherwise.
To reflect the increasing difficulty of booking the date again, the following cancellation charges apply:
- more than six months before the wedding: 30% of the total price;
- between six and three months before the wedding: 50% of the total price;
- between three months and thirty days before the wedding: 75% of the total price;
- less than thirty days before the wedding: 100% of the total price.
One postponement may be accepted without charge if the request is made more than 90 days before the wedding, the new date falls within the following twelve months and the Service Provider is available. If the Service Provider is not available on the new date, or if the request is made 90 days or less before the original date, the change is treated as a cancellation, except in the case of a serious event considered individually.
A death, hospitalisation or serious personal event may lead to a suitable commercial arrangement, subject to supporting documentation where relevant. This possibility does not create an automatic right to a refund.
Wedding-day arrangements
The €1,400 collection includes a maximum attendance time of 12 hours. The other two collections include a maximum attendance time of 15 hours. Any additional attendance requested by the Client and accepted by the Service Provider is charged at €100 for each hour or part of an hour.
When the Service Provider is present for more than six hours, a full meal must be provided on site. It must be possible to eat at the same time as the guests so that no important part of the day is missed.
Travel within one hour's drive of the Service Provider's usual business departure point is included. Beyond this distance, fuel, toll, parking, transport and, where applicable, accommodation costs are specified in the quotation.
Suitable accommodation is payable by the Client when the venue is more than a two-hour drive each way, when the schedule requires a very early departure, or when the service is due to finish after 2 a.m. If an extension agreed on the day results in a finish after 2 a.m., reasonable accommodation costs may be added to the invoice upon presentation of supporting documents.
The Client is advised to provide the day's schedule approximately fifteen days before the wedding. The Client must inform the venue, officiant and other suppliers that a filmmaker will be present and obtain any necessary access or filming permissions.
The Service Provider may refuse any shot that is dangerous, unlawful or contrary to the venue's rules. Aerial footage is captured only when the weather, safety conditions, location and airspace permissions allow. If the drone cannot be flown for any of these reasons, no price reduction will be made.
Production and creative decisions
The Service Provider works in a discreet, documentary style. The Client acknowledges that the final result depends on the actual conditions on the day, including light, weather, access, the actions of guests and suppliers, venue constraints and the way the event unfolds.
By choosing the Service Provider, the Client acknowledges having reviewed the Service Provider's portfolio and creative style. The Client entrusts the Service Provider with decisions concerning framing, narrative structure, pacing, editing, colour grading and musical atmosphere.
The Client may submit guidance, preferences or music choices before editing begins. Their use remains subject to suitability for the film, technical feasibility and applicable usage rights. If no guidance is received in time, the Service Provider makes these creative decisions independently. The service is not intended to provide a fully customised, client-directed edit.
Deliverables and revisions
The type, number, indicative duration and format of the films delivered are defined in the quotation.
One consolidated round of feedback is included. The Client has fifteen days from the first delivery to submit all requests. After that period, the included round of revisions expires, without affecting any statutory guarantees.
Included adjustments may cover the occasional removal or replacement of a shot, the correction of text or another limited detail. A request concerning the unwanted appearance of a child or other identifiable person will receive particular attention.
A complete re-edit, a change to the structure, creative direction or music, and successive requests that were not consolidated are not included. A music change after editing may be accepted only in exceptional circumstances. Any significant or additional revision accepted by the Service Provider is charged at €62.50 per hour, after the Client has been informed.
Delivery, storage and raw footage
The film is generally delivered within six weeks from the day after the wedding and no later than three months after that date. If an exceptional event delays delivery, the Client will be informed as soon as possible.
Delivery is made through a private link available for one month. The link may be renewed on request. The Client must download and back up the files during this period.
The Service Provider keeps an archive of the final film without announcing a fixed retention limit, subject to technical capacity. This does not constitute a guaranteed backup service. Raw footage is retained for a maximum of six months after delivery and may then be deleted without notice.
The Client may request all available raw footage during this period for €100. Files are supplied unedited and without colour grading, in their original technical condition. The Service Provider is not required to supply unusable or duplicate files, or files subject to third-party rights restrictions.
The Client may download, copy and share the film privately. Unless agreed in writing, the Client may not resell it, use it commercially, substantially modify it or allow a third party to reuse it publicly.
Publication and image rights
By signing this contract, the couple authorises Laurent Henry Weddings to use their wedding film and extracts from it to present its work on its website, in its portfolio, on social media, at festivals and competitions, in communication materials and in professional presentations.
The Client informs guests that a filmmaker will be present and allows them to object to being filmed. Consent to being filmed does not automatically constitute consent to public distribution. The Service Provider takes care not to single out an identifiable person in its communications without the appropriate permission.
No recognisable image of a minor is published on the website or social media without prior written permission from their legal representative or representatives, taking account of the child's views according to their age and maturity.
Technical incidents and force majeure
The Service Provider uses professional equipment and makes reasonable backup arrangements. If a technical incident affects some of the footage, the Service Provider informs the Client and seeks any reasonable solution to preserve or adapt the deliverables.
In the event of a total and irreversible loss that makes it impossible to produce the essential deliverables, the sums corresponding to the part of the service that cannot be performed will be refunded. This provision does not deprive the consumer of any other statutory rights and does not exclude the Service Provider's liability where it cannot legally be limited.
Neither party is liable for a delay or failure caused by an event reasonably beyond its control, including serious illness, accident, natural disaster, administrative prohibition, venue closure, major transport disruption, conflict or health emergency, subject to the legal requirements governing force majeure. The affected party informs the other as soon as possible so that an appropriate solution can be sought.
Complaints and governing law
Any complaint must first be sent in writing to bonjour@laurenthenryweddings.com. The parties will seek an amicable solution in good faith.
These Terms of Service are governed by French law. Consumers residing in another country retain the benefit of any mandatory consumer-protection provisions applicable to them. Clients located in Switzerland are invited to seek an amicable solution with the Service Provider before taking further action.
Version effective from 14 August 2026.
